I am one of the co-chairs for the Memory Walk again this year, so get ready to hear me talk about it. Its going to be here before you know it!

Chicago Memory Walk – Sunday Sept 16, 2007

Facts & Goals:

  • To raise $1.2 million in cash contributions from Walkers (individuals and teams), donors and corporate sponsors
  • To increase the number of Memory Walk® teams of family members,
    friends, neighbors, co-workers, social/civic/fraternal organizations,
    and sponsor organizations.

And to quote Lisa Lee : “Participating in Memory Walk is a wonderful way to honor or remember
someone with Alzheimer’s. It also is a destination, for thousands of
people to celebrate our efforts to raise awareness and funds for
programs and services for people in our Chapter area. We already have
90 teams registered and many new sponsors supporting our efforts.”

Its only about 3 miles along the lovely lake shore at Montrose – and I have scheduled it to be a nice sunny day.  🙂
