The Heritage of Des Plaines, one of the communities I work with is hosting a seminar series in July, August and September.  Each seminar is FREE and you can attend one or all three.

They start at 4:00 pm (appetizers and wine!), 5:00 – presentations.

The seminars are designed to help with important life management decisions.  You will learn how to talk aobu the issues of aging, finances, living arrangements and health care needs.

Thursday, July 26th
"Opening the Dialogue"
Presented by Cheryl A. Kuba, Aging Parent Solutions

(aside – I just love Cheryl, this one is worth going to as she has been there, done that and is funny to boot!)

She recently interviewed me for an article she was writing, I will post that in a later blog… but back to the seminar series info…

Thursday, August 30th
"The Need for Planning"
Presented by Patrick Owens, Attorney at Law

(I don’t know him, but this one is always valuable! – free advice from a lawyer? You are crazy to pass it up!)

Thursday, Sept 27th
"Re-Establishing the Relationship"
Presented by Claudia Cook, Liv Home

(she is also a smart cookie, I know her.)
