Have you ever wanted to bring the family pet to visit a loved one in the hospital?  Quite a few hospitals and hospice centers already allow you to do so, even one right here in Chicago!  I think we'll start to see more easing up on their pet restrictions as it's clear pets provide such a positive impact on us.   Check out this New Old Age article below all about it…

When Best Friends Can Visit


 A year and a half ago, Ruth London lay in intensive care in a hospital in Boca Raton, Fla., with severe pneumonia, delirious and hallucinating that she was in jail.

With the permission of a doctor on the unit, Ernest London, 81, cooked up a plan. He would bring the family dog, Delilah, a fluffy white Maltese, to see if the pet could calm his wife down.
