Guiding principles behind the AAHSA Idea House

Technology, universal design and aging in place all come together at the Idea House at the AAHSA 09 conference. When you are touring the home you can see all three of these principles in every corner. AAHSA Idea House Continued

I have some more information on the Idea House that will be at the AAHSA Meeting and Expo next week in Chicago. Before I even get into all the cool technology and design, its work noting that sustainable design features are used throughout the house including: carpets made from post-consumer recycled content and furniture made from recycled plastic milk jugs.  Go green! American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging "Idea House"

The 2009 AAHSA Annual Meeting in Expo this is year is in Chicago at the McCormick Place.  This year they are featuring a full scale, 2600 SQFT home which includes and demonstrates cutting edge design and technology from more than 25 companies!
