Even though Chicago did not make the list, I think this is still worth sharing.  We personally think Chicago is a great city for aging, but at the bottom, if you click to view their report, they did a wonderful job of compiling data to back up their list.  If anything, it's interesting to see why these cities come out on top & where Chicago can improve.

Think the best cities for aging in place are in Arizona and Florida? Think again. Those two states didn’t even make it onto two lists ranking the top cities best prepared for the 65-and-over crowd to age well and the best cities for “successful” aging among the 80+ population, compiled in July by nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank Milken Institute.
