About carrie gayton

Carrie has worked in the healthcare industry for 30 years. Having cared for her 99 year old father and 94 year old mother, she knows first hand the challenges seniors experience as they age.  She is one of eight children, many of whom are nurses or work in healthcare.  Carrie is adept at identifying solutions to help seniors and their families meet their unique needs.

After graduating from Loyola University in Chicago, She started her career as an Admissions Director at a Skilled Nursing Facility for high acuity patients. She progressed to Community Relations Director for a rehab and long term care provider.  Here, Carrie assessed hospital patients prior to admission, worked with families and planned community education events.  As a Marketing Director, Carrie worked for a growing senior living company opening one of their newly constructed communities as well as working at two additional properties.

Carrie has also held positions with Home Health, Hospice and Home Care providers. In those capacities she has worked extensively with Dementia and Parkinsons patients.  Carrie is dedicated to ensuring seniors understand all their housing and care options prior to deciding their next steps.

Carrie is active in the Continuity of Care Association/McHenry and Fox Lake Chapters and is a Minister of Care for homebound patients.

A life long resident of Westchester, she now resides in Lake in the Hills with her husband, two children, two cats and Rosie the Mastiff.
