Home and personal care

“Home Care” is a broad name for any professional support that a loved one may need when they are living at home. There are a wide range of Home Care services, and they range from part-time to live-in care.

Personal Care: This is the minimum form of health care and is provided by a home health aide. The aide provides companionship, helps with meal prep and housekeeping like cleaning and laundry, and reminds your loved one about their medication and appointments.

Visiting Nurse Services: This service is specifically for those recovering from an injury or illness. The services include physical and occupational therapy, speech language pathology, or other illness-specific recovery care.

Private Duty Nursing Care: This level of care requires the most support. The services are provided by skilled nurses, who care for loved ones suffering from ALS, MS, CSI, or other illnesses. They are able to help with ventilators, monitoring, or other forms of care.
